Intro One for 3 weeks was the greatest start that I could have ever wished for after my eight year break from school. Chef Paul made it fun and interesting. Yes, there were serious parts and lots of work, but it was SO worth it.
English class for 6 weeks has changed everything about my writing. I learned so much in this class, and Elizabeth was great, witty, funny and sharp. All the journal and essay writing was great experience and presenting was too; although a bit of a challenge at first, it got easier over time.
Nutrition was a challenge for me, but I made it through. If this class was completely hands on, I wouldn't have worried at much, but unfortunately, the teaching style was a bit stressful for me. Important thing is: I know now what a calorie measures and how to cut the fat out of a recipe by replacement of certain ingredients.
After the nutrition exam, and the potluck in English, I went for a nap-a four hour nap to be exact..
Then it was off for some sushi at Fuji Ya in downtown St. Paul with some classmates!

First, chopstick lessons for the newbies.

AND, Here is my appetizer, a Salmon Crab Cake. It was SO good!!
It was great to finish these first six weeks with sushi, sake and new friends. I feel it will become a tradition.
